- What assay(s) you currently use
- What other information you'd like to obtain during testing
- Typical number of tails per week/month for each gene

- Our scientists will develop and validate your custom assay within 2 – 4 weeks.
Example Assay Validation Report
- We will provide you with the following submission supplies free of charge:
- 96-well plates for tail sample submission
- Your customized MS Excel® spreadsheet for submitting order and sample information (see sample order spreadsheet below). PC and Mac formats supported.
- Sample shipping supplies (pre-printed FedEx® packaging materials).
- Complete your MS Excel® spreadsheet with the mouse tail information as it is laid out in your plate(s) and then e-mail the completed spreadsheet to your Genotyping Consultant.

- MendelWorks will provide free FEDEX shipping materials, or you may use your own overnight courier. Shipping will be billed to your account.
- Your result reports will be delivered by e-mail within 3 business days (standard service).
