2.  How many samples do you need to validate an assay?

For standard or real-time reactions, ~3 samples of each genotype expected are sufficient (for example, 3 wild types, 3 heterozygotes and 3 homozygous nulls). For quantitative reactions, 3-4 samples of known heterozygotes are preferred.

3.  How many samples can I submit for genotyping?

Once an assay has been validated, you may submit any number of samples at a time, with whatever frequency is most convenient for your research needs. We can easily process 1 sample or hundreds of samples at a time.
